Gracie singing loudly: "I KISSED A GIRL AND I LIKED IT"
I guess you just can't escape pop culture these days. I admit it's a catchy tune, but I'm not keen on the lyrics! When I asked where she had heard that song, she said "In Nanny's van with Sarah and Lee Lee". I had to explain to her that that was not a very nice song to be singing.......all the while Ron is busting at the seams trying to contain his laughter.

Do you remember the song She Bangs by Ricky Martin, Well one day at the mall Alex decides to start singing the song and he sings SHE BANGS YOU SHE BANGS YOU! One part of the song it sounds like that but he(Ricky Martin)is saying something like she moves she moves. We got a couple of snickers from people and that was when we had to explain you can't always sing what you hear. And we also started listening to LITE ROCK :)
Oh my goodness!! Emerson knows that song, too, and it's my fault. It's gotten so bad that she asks me to play the song about the cherry chapstick. And then she'll run around the house singing I kissed a girl . . . .I've stopped letting her listen to it but geez, like you said, it's hard to get away from it.
