This is how I found Gracie tonight after I finished bathing. She was in her bathing suit with my boots, my sunglasses, several bracelets and a scarf around her head. When I asked what she was doing, she said "I'm going to the Ladies Luncheon, would you like to join me?" LOL.

Cabbage Patch Babyland Hospital
As a treat for behaving so well this past week and weekend, Gracie was awarded a trip to the Cabbage Patch Babyland Hospital in Cleveland, Georgia. This is the birthplace of the original Cabbage Patch doll. It was such a neat little place and a place I would have died to have seen when I was a kid. Gracie was in awe amongst all those dolls. We even got to see mother cabbage give birth under the magical tree. The doctor did a sonogram before the birth to find out if it was going to be a boy or a girl. The screen showed pink......so a baby girl was born. The children witnessing the birth got to name the baby. They named her Abby Jewel. We were prepared to adopt an original doll for Gracie, but she chose the cheapest plastic preemie doll in the gift shop....works for us!
The doll with the Mickey Mouse ears is "the" original cabbage patch doll. He is 30 years old!
This is the preemie nursery, they even have some in incubators.
All of the dolls on display are cloth faced and range from $199 to $375.
There was a display of the "kids" at school. The kids are much bigger than the babies.....almost as big as Gracie.
Check out the hair on this baby! We took his picture because we liked his name :)
This is the magical tree where mother cabbage gives birth. When the crystals at the base of the tree start blinking, she is ready to deliver. This pic is for the Lipani's. They are going to name their baby girl, Maren.
Learning how to change her baby's diaper.
Of course, we had to get all of the baby doll accessories. Gracie has really been into dolls lately.
Striking a pose for the camera.

First Day of School
Gracie started Pre-K on August 6th. She loves her new uniforms and so do I. She was so excited to start school with a new teacher and to see all of her friends again. So far, so good. We really like Primrose Schools and would recommend it to anyone. However, we are unsure what we will do for kindergarten......send her to private Kingergarten at Primrose or public school. The jury is still out.
Happy Birthday Nanny Rhonda!

Chuck E Cheese Birthday Party
Gracie's classmate Michael had a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese! Gracie loves Michael's sister Ashley and followed her around like a puppy dog. For those who live around us, they've remodeled the C.C. on Barrett Parkway and it is much more enjoyable and roomier. Not such a bad place for a party anymore.
