Flowers

I just had to post this picture of the flowers on my front porch. Anyone that knows me well, knows that I DO NOT have a green thumb. For some unknown reason, I've managed not to kill these plants. I've been very diligent in watering them everyday....it's been therapeutic. Thank you Miracle Gro.

Best Buddies

Emily and William joined Gracie and I at the pool last Friday. Although they both were not too keen on getting in the water, they still had a great time.....more so on the playground playing chase.

My Sweet Girl

My sweet girl waiting patiently for Mom to get herself together in the morning. She has been such a trooper these past few weeks, despite the fact that we have been leaving much earlier!

SUPERSTAR!

Yes, that is my child doing the Mary Catherine Gallagher imitation from SNL. Thanks cousin Leah for the wonderful things you teach Gracie ;)

Sippy Cup O' Milk

The princess waiting for her nightly sippy cup of milk. At least we don't have to warm it up anymore! And for those parents out there trying to wean their child out of their bed...........get ready for 2 straight hours of screaming! Yes, that is what we experienced this past weekend......three nights in a row!!! I'm somewhat proud to say that we didn't give in until Sunday night at 3:30 a.m. when we decided that we needed to get a couple hours of sleep so that we could be functioning employees. Can't wait for tonight!

Ladies of Leisure

As most of you know, I switched jobs and had 3 weeks off in between. The commute (1.5 hours each way)was killing me. I'm happy to say that my new commute is great so far. Anyway, in the time I had off, Gracie and I frequented our subdivision pools (5 of them) every day! Gracie particularly likes the one with the Kiddie pool shown below. She's still not very brave in the water, but still loves to play around in the wading pool and on the steps of the big pool.
We will definitely be spending more time at the pool this summer!

DISNEY!!!!

BEWARE! THIS POST CONTAINS LOTS OF PICTURES
We took our annual trip to Walt Disney World the week of May 25th through 31st! This year we were so happy to be joined by my sister Rhonda, her daughter Sarah and my brother's three children, Joe, Jared and Leah. We had an absolute blast! The weather was perfect and the crowds were not unbearable. Of course, I took a ton of pictures (500 between my sister and I) and I've tried to include the best in the post below. I'm still in the process of uploading all of them to Snapfish and will post the link later.
Gracie really enjoyed the trip this year and she was a complete angel.......no major meltdowns to report. She is very much into the Disney princesses and we were fortunate enough to see most of them. We celebrated her 4th birthday with a trip to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and dinner with Chef Mickey. I can't believe our baby girl is 4 already! She is growing up too fast.

Gracie was able to ride Splash Mountain for the first time. She LOVED it.....so much that we rode it at least 4 times. Check out her expression....priceless!The first park we visited was Animal Kingdom followed by Magic Kingdom that night. Gracie got her face painted like a "Princess Bug". It's tough to be a bug!

Gracie was picked to be a part of Belle's storytime. She was "Chip". She was so proud to be up there on stage. Ron and I both agree that this "Belle" resembles Heather Riddell. Her princess makeover was definitely the highlight of the trip. She was beaming from ear to ear the entire time. She chose the Princess Ariel wedding dress.....and wanted her hair up with a diamond crown....classy! I would definitely recommend this to any family with little girls. Birthday celebration at Chef Mickey'sMGM Studios
She didn't like the idea of sitting on a bug!

I wish I had audio to attach to this post of Ron screaming on this ride. Hilarious! After riding it once, he overcame his fear of flipping roller coasters and rode it a couple more times. He did, however, refuse to ride Tower of Terror.

Leah will probably kill me for posting this......check out the love bug on her nose (ha ha)Our last day......we had a wonderful time!!!!

Playball

Playball is usually on Friday mornings, but on the day of her party Coach Hines showed up for their last session. I was very excited to see what they did in Playball. Gracie has been part of the program since she started at Primrose, but Ron and I never had the chance to see her in action. Gracie was thrilled also to show me what she could do. Coach Hines has told us that she is very athletic.....and we agree. Obviously, she doesn't get that trait from me (Hee Hee). The program teaches them fundamentals of different sports such as soccer and baseball, sportsmanship and discipline. We have been very pleased with the program and Gracie absolutely loves it. Below are a few action shots.
