HAPPY MARDI GRAS

Happy Mardi Gras to all you folks down in Louisiana. We were not there physically to help celebrate, but we were there in spirit! Gracie and I have been making King Cakes for my co-workers........she loves to help sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar. These pictures were from this morning before we left for school. Thanks Nanny Rhonda for the Mardi Gras shirt.....it still fits from last year!

Student of the Week!

Gracie was picked as "Student of the Week" in her preschool class. We had to fill out and decorate the "All About Me" poster so they could display it in her classroom. We are very proud of her!

Pink Princess Room

We finally painted Gracie's room PINK! She has been asking for a pink room for a long time. As we were painting she also asked for a blue ceiling and a little bit of purple too! That's not gonna happen. She loves her princess lamp and likes to pretend she is casting a magic spell by turning the night light off and on.

My Funny Valentine

I've never gotten Gracie up in the morning so fast as I did on Valentine's Day. All I had to say was "Happy Valentine's Day! Do you want your Valentine surprise now?" She sat straight up in bed with a big smile! She got Cinderella III from Ron and I and has watched it at least 10 times by now. She also got these cool pajamas from her Nanny Rhonda.....they are so cute. She also loved the Dora paint with water book.

They had to wear pink or red to school, so she finally was able to wear her red patent leather shoes! I bought her those at Target for $2 to play with. Needless to say, she wanted to wear those to school....this was her only chance!

A Day at the Park

Gracie was invited to Haley's birthday party. She was very excited because she was able to wear her princess dress! However, when we got there, she was very intimidated by the group of 8 year olds singing and dancing to the "High School Muscial" soundtrack! She would not get off of my hip. Until......she saw a huge playground outside. So, we changed her clothes and went to the park! She had a blast and wore herself out.
