Here we are two months into First Grade and I'm just now posting these pics from Kindergarten Honors Day. I figured I better do this before Gracie starts Second Grade! She had a wonderful first year of school and a wonderful teacher. Gracie made lots of new friends and is very excited to go to school each day. Thank Goodness!! This summer Gracie started reading overnight, it seems. Now she reads anything and everything she can get her hands on. I love it because I am a big reader myself. I have being reading to her since she was in the womb! I like to think that my reading to her really helped in her learning to read, but I really have to give credit to her Primrose teachers and Ms. Lawson, her Kindergarten teacher. This school year she participates in a reading program where they encourage the students to read at least 100 books during the school year. Gracie has already read 30!!! We are so proud of her!!!
