The Day at the Zoo

As Gracie told you in the post before, for her 6th birthday, she got to choose a friend to spend the day at the zoo. She and Ashlynn had a ball. It was very hot for the month of May!

The Flamingos were the first stop. Look at Gracie rockin' the side ponytail! I think she's reverting back to the 80s.

The apes/monkeys/gorillas were a big hit!

We love watching the large silverbacks. This one was napping in the shade. We were jealous.

And here we are in the petting area. It's pretty disgusting if you ask me! Lots of Germ-X after that attraction.

The Panda Exhibit is Awesome. They are my favorite. I read somewhere that they may have to send them back to China because they are too expensive to keep here :(

Isn't this adorable? The baby was taking a nap. It looks like she/he (?) was smiling and posing.

And of course, where there is a playground.......

we must play.
