Here are more pictures from our beach vacation this past July. I am totally overwhelmed by the amount of pictures that were taken among the 5 families and I have been putting off posting these because I was dreading having to narrow them down and the amount of time it would take for Blogger to download them. And here we are two months later and I'm STILL dreading it. So, I'm just going to post random pics in random order. Who really wants to see other people's vacation pictures anyway??? (I'm doing this as my virtual scrapbook, seeing that I haven't scrapbooked in over a year!) Here they are......
THE CAST OF CHARACTERS

Monkey#1, The Master, Monkey#2)

The DeFuscos

The Johnsons

The Hillmans

The Lipanis
Our vacation was wonderful! "Putting 19 people in one house for 7 days is a receipe for disaster" said Melanie....and I totally agreed. However, we couldn't have asked for a better setup with the Tiki House. Each family had their own space and everyone got along really well. I think we all surprised ourselves!!!
Gracie morphed into a fish that week! We were not very confident in her swimming ability the week before, but it's funny what peer pressure can do! She desperately wanted to keep up with the Johnson kids. Thank goodness we had a large pool because that is where we spent most of our time. Gracie wasn't very fond of the beach and neither was I after we were all bitten by sand mites (we think?). Plus, it was unbelievably hot the entire week we were there. I heard it was 107 degrees with the heat index! All in all, a good time was had by all and Gracie asks on a weekly basis if we can move to Florida! I told her if she can invent a potion to stop hurricanes, we're so there!

Our mornings would start in the "Common" area with breakfast served......

by these fresh faced ladies!
Okay, maybe that's not true (for my part anyway)....Ron was usually up before me!

Then we would jump right into the pool. One day we were actually in the pool at 7 a.m.!

Some mornings, we just stayed in our jammies and had Choo Choo Soul dance parties!

Or hung out on the hammock.....

And some mornings, well, we just didn't want to wake up at all!

By midday Gracie was usually waterlogged and....

dramalogged (Hey, I just made up a word! It should totally be in the dictionary, with Gracie's picture.)

Nothing a little chips and salsa (and beverage for the adults) won't cure.

And all was well and right in the world again.

Oh, who am I kidding. The drama never really went away :)

She looooves her Mama! But her Mama loves her MORE. I'll take a little drama any day just to have her in my life. I'm so very blessed.

Speaking of adult beverages, thanks to Catrina (who works for Diageo), we were well stocked!

As an added bonus, she acted as bartender as well. Thanks Catrina!
These little muskateers (Will, Gracie and Hannah) had plenty of buddy time.

These two bathing beauties, with the matching coverups, were always ready to pose for the camera.

Don't ask. It was unprompted.

And as far as this little Casanova, well I just might eat him up.
LOVE these LADIES!
Here are a few shots I got of Gracie on the beach.

**Disclaimer: No animals were harmed in the taking of these pictures. However, one human was tortured and almost killed.
