Yes, I was SOL this past Monday when I got on the road for my 37 mile commute. Apparently on Friday, with Ike's impending doom, everyone and their brother decided to top off their gas tanks. I must be living in a bubble because I was oblivious to this frenzy until Sunday evening when I realized my gas gauge was screeching towards the big E. Luckily I found a gas station while passing through BFE on my way to work. The orange light came on just as I was pulling up to the pump. Thank goodness I didn't run out of gas on that long and lonely highway. No telling what would have come out of those woods.......you know they found Sasquatch up in those North Georgia mountains :)
