I think I'm a very laid back person. I don't get fired up about much. So imagine Ron's surprise when I started yelling at the TV last night while preparing dinner. Now, I'm not the biggest sports fan (sure, I enjoy a football or baseball game here and there), but I simply cannot avoid all of the news about Brett Favre's recent retirement/changing his mind when my husband watches and listens to ESPN Sports Center/NFL Network/sports talk radio/blah blah blah 24 hours a day. Well last night I had heard ENOUGH! I think Brett Favre is an ASS. If you are going to go on national television and proclaim that you are tired and ready for retirement, then damn it stick to it. I used to be a Brett fan (as much as a non sports person can be), but now......not so much. I think he is being down right greedy. I know that I don't know all of the details regarding his contract, but from the outside looking in, it looks pretty pathetic to me.
Whew, I'm glad I got that off my chest.

I feel the same as you (for a not so sports fan also), my boys watch all that crap all the time too. I am also tired of hearing about it. GREEDY is the name of the game!!
