4 Shots

Gracie had to have her immunizations updated before I could enroll her in Kindergarten. I know, I know.....she' s already going to Kindergarten :( I'm so sad, I don't even want to think about it. She is growing up way too fast. I had postponed, until the day before, telling her that she would be getting a shot from the doctor, much less 4. When I told her about the shot, she seemed scared, but I told her that if she was brave, she would get a big toy! Then she was okay with it.......hey sometimes you just have to bribe them. I was expecting some drama the day of her appointment, but to my surprise she didn't blink an eye. The child didn't even cry one tear....and she got 4 big shots!!! I was so proud of her and praised her the whole day through!!! The picture below is a dramatization a'la Gracie.
