While recovering from one of Gracie's many illnesses (see post below), we were lounging around in our pjs one dreary morning when my cell phone rang. It was our friend Heidi Johnson asking us if we had heard our door bell ring. Confused, I said no. Then I remembered....our doorbell is broken!!!! She told us to look outside for a surprise. Our dear friends drove all the way from Woodstock (25 minutes away) to bring us homemade cookies and a get well card! I felt so bad that we didn't hear the doorbell, but they assured us that it was a hit and run drop off. How nice is that? We definitely felt the love. Thank you guys!!!
