These pictures just make my heart sing. Gracie LOVES, LOVES, LOVES our neighbor Mavian's dog, Diesel. She also LOVES her nephew Christian. They met last year at Christmas time. Christian lives in Miami, so they don't get to see each other very often. But when he comes to town, they have a blast together. Gracie talks about Diesel every day. I know you all must be thinking that we should get her a dog, but I just don't see it happening. Dogs are alot of work! My biggest concern is that we are NEVER home during the week and that poor dog would be left alone. Plus, I've never had a pet in my life (except that one time I had a dog for a week in my prior life! But, that doesn't count.) I don't really like dogs jumping or licking on me. BUT, this girl of mine has me wrapped around her little finger and I can totally see her wearing me down on this one.

Sounds like you have already talked yourself into it. Now you just have to figure out what kind you are going to get. I recommend poodles because they do not shed, no excess slobber and they are smart (easy to train).

When she stayed with us, she LOVED the dogs! She wanted Lola with her EVERYWHERE she went!!

Unfortunately I can't agree with the other 2. Those pics crack me up. Did they let poor Diesel walk on his own at all?
