It was so nice to be home for Thanksgiving!! However, it was a very eventful week. First, my mom came down with a bug and was in bed for 3 whole days.....so guess who had to cook....ME! Now for those of you that know me well, know that that is not a good thing. However, I must give myself some props because I think I did a pretty darn good job with the gumbo. Thankfully, my parents had ordered the Turkey and rice dressing from a local caterer. That would have been disastrous if I had to make the rice dressing because I don't like rice! Second, my thumb on my right hand was sliced open (see post below for story). Third, the washing machine flooded the kitchen on Thanksgiving morning! Other than that, it felt so good to be home with family for the holiday.
Sarah, Leah and Gracie. Those girls are growing up too fast. They surely are blossoming into beautiful young ladies.

Then we had a little fun with Leah's hair extensions. We tried them on all the guys....it was HILARIOUS
